How do I get a Library Card?Any Lee resident can get a FREE library card. You must bring proof of residency which could be any of the following: Driver’s license, utility bill, copy of your tax bill.

What if I don’t live in Lee?Non-residents may get a library card in Lee for $30 per year. Part-year residents may get a library card for $15 per year. These cards are renewable annually. Some part-year residents may qualify for a FREE library if they pay property taxes to the Town of Lee. Proof of tax payment would need to be provided to the library upon registration.

Are there any age restrictions on getting a library card?Although children may get a library card at 5 years old, we recommend the use of family cards. This encourages parents to take an active role in guiding their children’s reading and viewing habits. The library staff is happy to assist in finding materials for you and your family.

Does the library charge overdue fees? Are there limits to how much I can borrow? No, the library does not charge overdue fees, and there are NO limits as to how much you can borrow. We do ask, however, that you not borrow the entire collection in one subject area!

How long may I borrow materials?Generally, books can be borrowed for 3 weeks, DVDs for 1 week. Some longer playing DVDs and Books on CD may have an extended borrowing period.

May I renew things I have checked out?Yes, there are unlimited renewals on anything as long as no one else is waiting for it. You may renew online, in person, or by phone. You may renew items online by clicking here. You will need a username and PIN to log into your account. Your Last Name is your username and your library card number is your PIN.
