Friday November 7, 4:30pm – 7:00pm – Elemiddle School Book Group: Read Swiss Family Robinson book by Johann David Wyss. We’ll watch the movie to make comparisons, and enjoy some pizza, drinks and snacks! Books are available at the library. 1000 Books Before Kindergarten
This library program encourages Lee families to read 1000 books with their young children before they enter kindergarten. It’s easy... just1000booksbeforekindergarten.org/ register and keep track of how many books you’ve read on a reading log. We’ll help you celebrate the first 100 books milestone with the gift of a canvas book bag. And at each 100 books mark, you’ll get a 100 books sticker. Reach 1000 and you’ll receive a copy of Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready for Kindergarten! Registration and participation is ongoing. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Lee Public Library. |
