Wednesday December 4, 11 & 18, 11:30am – 12:00pm – Toddler Time: This is our weekly lap-sit program suitable for babies and young toddlers! Join Miss Judy in the library children’s room for songs, stories and fun.

Friday December 6, 13, 20 & 27, 10:30am – 11:30am – Sensory Station Story Time: Join Miss Judy in the old town hall for stories, songs, movement, sensory activities and more! No sign-up necessary. 12/27 will be a free space Friday!

Saturday December 14, 10:00am – 11:00am – Marine Mammals with UNH Extension: Bring the family along to this fun-filled interactive program. A team of UNH docents will teach us about whales, dolphins, porpoises, seals, sea lions, walruses and more.

Friday December 27, 4:30pm – 7:00pm – Children’s Book to Movie Club: Read ‘The Tale of Despereaux’ by Kate DiCamillo. We’ll watch the movie to make comparisons, and enjoy some pizza, drinks and snacks! Books available at the library. Call us today at 603-659-2626 if you are in grades 2-6 and would like to join. 1000 Books Before Kindergarten
This library program encourages Lee families to read 1000 books with their young children before they enter kindergarten. It’s easy... just1000booksbeforekindergarten.org/ register and keep track of how many books you’ve read on a reading log. We’ll help you celebrate the first 100 books milestone with the gift of a canvas book bag. And at each 100 books mark, you’ll get a 100 books sticker. Reach 1000 and you’ll receive a copy of Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready for Kindergarten! Registration and participation is ongoing. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Lee Public Library. |
