Through the generosity of the Friends of the Lee Library, we offer discounted admission to the following Museums:

Aviation Museum of NH
​The Aviation Museum of New Hampshire welcomes everyone with an interest in learning more about New Hampshire's exciting aviation history. The Aviation Museum is New Hampshire's only working museum devoted to aviation history in the Granite State.
​
The Aviation Museum is open Fridays and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m.
Pass offers free admission for four people

Bedrock Gardens
Bedrock Gardens Is Open.
Tuesday – Friday and the first and third weekends.
Hours are 10-4.

​Bedrock Gardens is an emerging public garden that integrates unusual botanical specimens and unique sculpture into an inspiring landscape journey. This 30-acre site is transitioning from a historic farm and private garden to a public oasis of art, horticulture and inspiration.  
Visit a garden that the Boston Globe described as "one of the most beautiful and intriguing landscapes in New Hampshire."
Pass is a Family Level Membership pass that includes 2 adults, children and grandchildren.

Canterbury Shaker Village  
​Canterbury Shaker Village, Inc., is an internationally-known non-profit museum founded in 1969 to preserve the heritage of the Canterbury Shakers. Designated as a National Historic Landmark for its architectural integrity and significance, the Village has 25 restored original Shaker buildings, 4 reconstructed Shaker buildings, and 694 acres of forests, fields, gardens, nature trails, and mill ponds under permanent conservation easement. Tours, programs, exhibits, and events help visitors chart their own journey of simplicity, caring, and community. 
Guided Tour Hours: Open daily, Sunday – Saturday at 11AM, 1PM, 2PM, and 3PM
Village Store & Exhibit Hours: Open daily, Sunday – Saturday from 10AM – 5PM
Village Grounds & Trails: Every day, dawn to dusk, and free to visit.  All are welcome to visit the Village, walk the trails, and explore the beautiful grounds.  
*Masks are required for all visitors anytime you are inside a building.
Pass offers free admission to a guided tour for up to 2 adults and 2 children any day that the museum is open, excluding special events. Season runs from May 14—November!

Open until 9:00 p.m. on Fridays.
Hours on Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., New Year’s Day open: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
CLOSED:  Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day

​Children’s Museum of New Hampshire

HOURS OF OPERATION:
Tuesday-Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday: Noon-5 p.m.
Open regular hours on Mondays during summer and school vacation weeks, otherwise closed on Mondays.
Passes may be reserved for the current month and the next. One pass per day.

Museum of Fine Arts – Boston
More than one pass can go out each day, but passes are limited to one per person.

Wednesday-Friday: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

PASS ADMITS:  2 People for $10.00 each
(Regular admission fee is $25/Adult ,$23/Seniors & Students age 18 and older, Students ages 7-17 are admitted for $10 on school days until 3 p.m. & are free at any other time, Youths 6 and under are always free)
Pass allows two patrons to obtain a reduced price ticket of  $10.00 each for admission to the museum.  No reservations are accepted.

Reserve a pass for the date you plan to visit the Museum and pick up your pass from the library. If you have any questions or would like to reserve your Exhibit Halls passes in advance to avoid waiting in line the day of your visit, please call 617-723-2500 (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily).Your pass can only be used on the date printed on the pass.
  1. Up to 4 people are admitted at a 50% discount off of Exhibit Hall admission prices. Children under 3 are always free.
  2. Please bring your library pass when you visit.
  3. Stop at the Box Office when you arrive at the Museum to exchange your library pass and purchase your Exhibit Halls passes at the discounted rate.
During the summer (July 5-Labor Day), Saturday through Thursday the museum is open until 7 p.m., and on Friday until 9 p.m.
CLOSED:  Thanksgiving & Christmas (Closes early at 2:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve.)

​The New Hampshire Telephone Museum
The New Hampshire Telephone Museum houses a tangible history of telecommunications which can be viewed via guided or self-guided tours. Our knowledgeable staff provides engaging commentary highlighting important moments in telephone history, such as the race to the patent office, the undertaker who invented the dial system, and much more.
Our enthusiastic staff and our collection of over 1000 artifacts, have made the New Hampshire Telephone Museum one of the must-see attractions in the state, as well as an important educational resource. New Hampshire State Parks
The New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation is one of five divisions of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. 
The Division of Parks and Recreation is comprised of management components that make up the Division's mission in the state.The Division manages 93 properties' campgrounds, beaches, natural areas, waysides, historic sites and recreational trails.

The Division is comprised of the following management areas:
  • Bureau of Park Operations - includes management, operation and maintenance of state parks, campgrounds, waysides, and natural areas.   
  • Bureau of Trails -  includes management of motorized trails for snowmobiling and ATV use, as well as, non-motorized trails for hiking, biking, cross country skiing, sled dog mushing, and equestrian use. 
  • Bureau of Historic Sites - is responsible for the care, maintenance and administration of the State Historic Sites as well as the historic resources under stewardship of the Department of Resources and Economic Development.
  • Cannon Mountain - New Hampshire's only state-owned and operated ski area in beautiful Franconia Notch State Park.
The Division's main office is located in Concord.

New Hampshire has 93 state park properties that provide a variety of recreational opportunities for all ages and abilities. The park system includes beaches, campgrounds, historic sites, waysides, natural areas, a multitude of trails, and much more to explore.

Pass grants admission for two adults and four children to any day-use park at no additional charge.
Pass not valid at the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway, the Flume Gorge, Hampton Beach State Park – South Beach, Wallis Sands State Park, or metered parking. The pass may not be used for camping fees.

​Peabody Essex Museum
LOCATION: 161 Essex Street, Salem, MA
HOURS OF OPERATION: Thursday through Sunday, 9-5
PASS ADMITS: Thursday-Sunday 2 people reduced admission $12, youths 16 and under are always free. There is an additional $6 fee for admission to the Yin Yu Tang Chinese House.
Patrons need to call the Durham Library to reserve this pass and then log into PEM’s ticket page to reserve a date and time to visit PEM.  Visit pem.org/tickets, enter the promo code LIB83120 and then selectyour discounted admission tickets. 
At this time  there are no paper passes, please use the promo code to reserve passes online or call PEM’s reservation line at 978-542-1511.

Portsmouth Historical Society
Portsmouth Historical Society, founded in 1917, is a nonprofit devoted to championing the history, arts, and culture of the Portsmouth region through acquisitions, preservation, museum exhibitions, programs, and publications. It operates two facilities: the Discover Portsmouth Welcome Center and the 1758 John Paul Jones Historic House Museum and Gardens, a national historic landmark.
The Discover Portsmouth Center closes at the end of December but admission is only charged from April 1 through October 10 or Columbus Day each year.
That is the same with the John Paul Jones House but they close October 10 or Columbus Day each year.
The pass is for a family of up to 2 adults and 2 children. One pass per day.
These will be used during the admission time of April 1 through Columbus Day each year.

Squam Lakes Science Center
Through spectacular live animal exhibits, natural science education programs, an informal public garden, and lake cruises, Squam Lakes Natural Science Center has brought people Nearer to Nature since 1966. The Science Center is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA); we are the only AZA-accredited institution in northern New England.

Woodman Museum

HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday & Wednesday-Sunday 11 am – 5 pm
Closed Tuesdays. Also closed on Independence Day , Thanksgiving, Christmas  and New Year’s Day.
Pass admits two for the price of one, or one person for half-price. Regular prices are $13 for adults, $10 for seniors (65+), $9 for active military personnel and students over the age of 13, $7 for children ages 4-12. Children 3 and under 3 and family members of deployed military personnel are admitted for free.
